The 6th annual Renaissance Faire is about to begin! It is this Saturday and Sunday (October 2nd and 3rd) on the grounds of Conner Prairie. It is fun day for those that love jousting, magicians, music, artists, and of course, food!
There will be over 12,000 guests during the two day event!
Entertainers will include Knights of Valour Joust Troupe; The Quest, Molotov the Gypsy, Knotty Bits (a family friendly sideshow act with feats of daring skill), a Madrigal choir, and King Arthur himself will be wandering the Faire to help those in need. There will be many people wearing costume accessories, swords are okay...but all weapons must be peace-tied!
The event is tied to Fishers sister city, Billericay, England. They have been sisters since about 1998.
The culmination of the day will be the battle of good versus evil; you'll have to attend (or check back here) to see who will reign in the end!
