It's time for a change.

It's time for a change...and to get back to doing what I do best.

Today will be my last day with Coldwell Banker Triad Realtors in Greensboro, North Carolina.  I leave with mixed emotions.  I was there for just under a year.  It was a difficult year for me, as well as many in my office and many of you.  But, that's not really why I'm leaving.  I will miss the many friends and relationships made during my time here.

I am going back to what I believe I do best.  I'll be representing a builder.  With over nine years in real estate, I've spent about seven working directly for builders.  I've come to realize, it's what I'm very good at and what I really enjoy.  I get to know my product inside out.  Perhaps I like the certainty of knowing just what I'm selling, with few surprises. 

I mainly worked with buyers at CBTR.  Most were first time buyers who took advantage of the tax credit.  It made me feel good to help them along the way and put them in their dream homes.  I will miss that aspect of general brokerage.

So one chapter closes and another begins.  We shall see how it turns out.
