                                    Homestead Hollow Harvest Festival   October 1, 2, & 3, 2010

Each year everyone who enjoys outdoor festivals has Homestead Hollow marked on their calendars for the "go to event of the season".  You have two days left to enjoy the awesome Harvest Festival, October 2 & 3, 2010.

You feel as though you have stepped back into time the moment you walk into the park. The cabins on the property were built as they would have been in the early pioneer days.

The candle making demonstrations were fun to watch while listening to the music on stage by some of the area's top local singers. There are also many activities for the children to enjoy.

While enjoying your walk around the park, you have talented artist who brought with them their best work for you to consider. I purchased some unique gifts for Christmas.

Hi Diane!

I love the photos...

We have an old town that was preserved, and is a great way to teach the children about life in the past.

Hey Joshua - it is a neat place for the kids to understand how the generations from the past did live.  The demonstrations are interactive so they can comprehend what they are reading about.

Diane, I am tickled that you posted about Homestead Hollow   It doesn't look like I will be able to attend this year, which is too bad.......it's always a lot of fun!  I thought about writing about it but without pictures it just would not have been the same. :o)

Diane, Homestead Hollow sounds like my kind of place with the events they hold. Your photo story is just excellent with these crisp photos - what great light! I love craft shows with really great art and crafts. Looks like you had both!

Nick, talking about quality, in my opinion he was the best in the festival. If  you saw his work you wouldn't forget it.

Sharon, I enjoying doing a lot of crafts myself and love going to all of the local festivals to see what is new on the market.  Thanks you so much for your nice comments.
