Louisiana has been experiencing EXTREMELY DRY WEATHER WITH NO RAIN IN SIGHT! Due to this there are currently burn bans in effect for the following Parishes in Louisiana:

  • Caddo
  • Caldwell
  • Winn
  • LaSalle
  • West Carroll
  • Catahoula
  • Madison
  • Calcasieu
  • Avoyelles
  • Claiborne
  • Grant
  • Bienville
  • Jeff Davis
  • Union

These are the Parishes listed as under a burn ban as of this date as listed on The Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry.

If you are wanting to burn, no matter what parish you are in, you should call your local Policy Jury Office for information!

I had no idea it was so dry over that way. Everytime we visit Lake Charles it rains. Usually starts after we leave Houston coming and going. Hope you get some rain soon.
