That is gorgeous - thanks for sharing! It's nice to see Fall has arrived in some parts of the country
Now Gerry that is paradise. I can look at your picture and hear the stream and smell the freshness...
Hello Gerry and that is a mighty fine looking area to kick back and take it easy!
VB ;)
Gerry, I can almost hear the stream passing by! Great photo! It is a very beautiful place!
Wendy,
You are welcome. Thank you for visiting this post and discovering a Montana moment! :)
Carol,
We are not only lucky that fall has arrived in Red Lodge but that it has already lasted longer than last year's fall! Last year, I remember taking photos of the fall colors in late September and within days the first snow of the fall/winter season decided to come, the beautiful colors turned quickly to brown and white and I was prevented from taking any further beautiful fall color photos.
Here's a link to the post from last year to explain it better with photos: The Fall Colors in Red Lodge - Yellow, Orange, Red, Green... and White? Where Did Fall Go?
Vegas Bob,
It sure is nice to kick back and take it easy especially next to a beautiful stream. :)
Tony & Darcy,
Thank you. It is so beautiful that I am taking lots more photos than any other place I have lived in my life. I am taking photos much faster than I am able to share them on here too! :)
Stay tuned for more fall photos of my beautiful surroundings!
We will be watching for the nature show from the Red Lodge Gerry! What a beautiful spot for a wedding!
Gerry, What? No moose? Just kidding. Great scene and thank you for sharing it with us.
Hi Gerry, this looks like a great spot to relax. Very nice photo. Bet you're counting down the days til the Hab's season opener.
Hi Gerry, They picked an excellent photo for their brochure - nicely done my friend!
Al and Peggy,
The nature show has begun! Here's the link: The Fall Colors in Montana - Part 1 of 10: Red Lodge, Montana (Mountain Views)
I am glad to have on you on board for this show who promises to be very colorful! :)
Charles,
You are welcome. I am sure the spot featured in the photo must have been visited by a moose. I just was not there to capture both of them at the same time! :)
Jenny,
Thank you for the reminder. I have been busy taking photos to share on here and had actually forgotten that hockey season starts soon. I am keeping tab on what is going on in baseball's major leagues and it promises to be interesting with a couple of races still to be determined on this final day of the baseball season! :)
Mary,
Thank you. I was very happy to contibrute towards the brochure! More and more people in town are starting to realize some of my other talents! :)
There is nothing more relaxing to me than the sounds of water...I want my next house to have some type of pond, lake, river in the backyard...
CIndy In Indy
CIndy,
I have to agree. That is what draws people to live near the water and if they can't afford to buy near the water, to at least be able to rent vacation rental places such as the Medecine Flower Lodge to have a well deserved vacation or special event with lots of time for relaxing by the water. :)
Beautiful!!! As I've said before, one of the best things about Activerain is that we have the ability to learn about so many different places - Montana looks lovely at this time of the year. Happy selling, and thanks for sharing! Wendy Betts - Vancouver BC
