Where Is The HUD Homes Capital Of Central Ohio?

There were no new HUD listings this week. It appears that NHMS is still selling off the old inventory, and the new asset managers did not complete the transition yet. NHMS will accept bids on their current listings till 10/13/10 and after that, these HUD Homes will be pulled off the market and re-assigned to the new asset management companies.

Our subscribers received an up-to-date map, that shows which HUD homes are still available. Only 16 HUD houses sold during the past 7 days. However, I got quite a few calls in the past few days - it appears that activity is picking up again.

In the meantime, I analyzed HUD homes sales between March and September 2010. During that 6-month period HUD sold exactly 801 homes in Central Ohio at an average price of $75,087.
