Drip Emails

By
Real Estate Agent with ReMax

In Real Estate, we hear the term "drip email" thrown around a lot, however how many companies/programs actually offer this option? We recently went in search of a program that would take care of our drip emails for us, with the following features:

  • The ability to brand the emails going out with our own header, footer, photo etc.
  • The option to add someone to the drip, and they would start at email #1.
  • The option to schedule a specified number of days in between each email message.
  • The option to be notified when the drip campaign that a particular client is assigned to is about to expire.
  • The ability to have several different campaigns to assign clients & potential clients to.

We thought we had found a solution - however the program we found was more of a mass-mailer than an actual drip-email solution.

With the number of Realtors working in todays market, you would think that there would be a solution available for a non-exorbitant price!!

I am sure there must be a program that does all this! I will follow this thread to see the answers.

Well, there is one program  -  and the set up fee is only about $5000.00  plus a monthly fee ...

You would think that there would be a more affordable option considering the number of Realtors out there!

A relatively new piece of software that may be what you're looking for is Contact29.  It's 9.95/month.

Thanks for the suggestion Hayden, but we currently use Agent Office, so we don't need a program that replaces most of AO's functions - we're just looking for a simple drip email solution.  I'm looking into alamode now- thank you for your help with this!

Thanks Travis - you certainly can't go wrong with $10/month! Do you happen to know if you can use HTML in the emails that you send out so that you can brand them with your own photo, header, etc?  Also - is there anyway to be notified when a particular client's assigned campaign is about to expire?

 Thanks again for the tip!

Hi Rob,

Yes the emails are HTML based.  There are actually templates that you can choose from that include the photo and logo (that you add to your account profile) in the email that goes out as well.

An email gets sent out once the campaign expires, but also there is an option to chain campaigns together.  So, when one campaign finishes the contact automatically move to the next one.

Thank you everyone for your feedback.

We are trying the Contact29 - so far so good. Thanks for your recommendation, Tom! (we put your name down in the "Referred By" field when we signed up).

Thanks again everyone!

I think drip email or auto email should obviously do all the work for you. It should be just so easy and after just a keep in touch call or monthly call
