Each year there are various events held along Main Street in Downtown Franklin and surrounding areas.  Here is summary of the upcoming events (Fall 2010 through Summer 2011) along with the cost for each.  Some of the events are free to visit and many are family friendly!

Wine Down Main Street - Friday, November 5, 2010

Wine Tasting in the shops along Main Street in Historic Downtown Franklin on Main Street - 3rd Ave to 5th Ave
Tickets are $75 in advance (until 10/29/10), then $85 the week of the event and include all food and wine tastings

Pumpkinfest - Saturday, October 30, 2010

The City's  annual fall festival, Pumpkinfest, attracts crowds for a full day of food, children's activities, music, storytelling, hayrides, a chili cook-off, a costume contest, All Things Pumpkin! and outstanding arts and crafts from 50 vendors. The family oriented street festival held around the public square runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

3 Blind Vines - Friday, February 25, 2011

Three Blind Vines is an annual wine tasting event presented by The Next Generation Heritage Foundation of Franklin and Williamson County. This party, benefiting the Franklin Theatre, is held at Jamison Hall in the Factory.   The event gives all wine lovers the opportunity to taste different brands of Sauvignon Blanc and Malbec. Cost is $25.00 per person plus 3 bottles of wine (1 Sauvignon Blanc, 1 Malbec and 1 repeat of either of these wines). Admission includes entertainment, food from your favorite local restaurants & chefs, and the wine of course!

Main Street Brew Fest - Saturday, March 12, 2011

Historic Downtown Franklin celebrates St. Patrick's Day early with the Franklin Main Street Brew Fest! Tickets are $35 and include tastings of more than 50 beers and a sampling of Irish whiskey in the Main Street shops from 6 to 9 p.m. Main Street is closed to vehicle traffic but free and open to pedestrian traffic with most shops and restaurants open throughout the event.

Main Street Festival - Saturday & Sunday, April 30 - May 1, 2011

Franklin's annual Main Street Festival brings more than 200 artisans & crafters, three stages, two carnivals and two food courts to the historic Public Square and Downtown District. Hours for the free street festival are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, with the Fourth Avenue Street Dance continuing until 10 p.m., and all activities re-opening noon to 6 p.m. Sunday. Arts and crafts booths line Main Street from First to Fifth Avenue.

Tour of Homes - Saturday & Sunday, June 4-5, 2011

The Heritage Foundation of Franklin and Williamson County will host its annual Town & Country Tour of Homes.  Typically eight homes are open on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.  Tickets are $30 and may be purchased at any of the homes on the days of the tour.

Tiffany - Franklin needs to close off the downtown streets all the time and just let people walk the streets. The special events are great.
