Time for Romance? Here is a Denver Romantic Restaurant - Part 3

Rioja is the next romantic destination that should be on your list.
Rioja is a sister restaurant of Bistro Vendome (next featured romantic restaurant) and are both located off Larimer Street in Larimer Square - downtown Denver.
Rioja features many Mediterranean influenced menu choices of beef, duck and a
variety of fish along with a good variety of appetizers. This is your chance to try a "Flight of Goat Cheese" to include Haystack Mountain Peak, aged goat gouda, and Tomme d’ Aquitaine. The name of the restaurant is derived from the spanish wine region. This region has a long and glorious viniculture history that is most recently catching on in the United States, although producers in Rioja are the most recognized in Spain, the entire country produces award-winning wines. They have selected a few that they think are a great accompaniment to Chef Jen's food. Their wines can be purchased by the bottle, half-bottle or by the glass just for that romantic dinner.

Rioja has been awarded - Award of Excellence by Wine Spectator 2010, Restaurants Top Tables by Bon Appetit in June 2005, Where to go Next by Food & Wine 11/2005, Best of 2008 by 5280 Magazine and featured in the Holiday Food issue of USA Weekend 11/2005, among others.

You can make reservation on their website Rioja, or you can call them personally. Valet parking is available in Larimer Square.
Their hours - Dinner is served 7 nights/week, Lunch is served Wednesday thru Friday and Brunch is served Saturday & Sunday starting at 10 a.m.
Passion, creativity and attention to detail are the engines that drive any restaurant. Executive Chef/Owner Jennifer Jasinski and General Manager/Owner & Beth Gruitch leads the team at Rioja.
One Hundred Fifty can be seated in the main dining room and bar, and up to 16 on the patio.

Top your romantic dinner off with beignets for dessert with ruby port wine or several other choices.
