Once you have your Colorado real estate broker license there is an enormous amount of opportunity for brokers that are employed by other brokers. The real estate market is just at the early stages of its recovery, and that makes it the ideal time to be getting your career off the ground with your Colorado real estate broker license. So now that you have got your Colorado real estate broker license...now what?

The housing market recovery is strong in Colorado so it is an ideal place to hold a real estate license. The Denver real estate market has seen an increase in both sales and median sales price over the previous year; a trend that extends to other Colorado housing markets such as Boulder and the Fort Collins area markets. Now that you have your Colorado real estate broker license you will be able to reap the benefits of a market on the way up.

Initially you should have an employing broker that you will work for and your Colorado real estate broker license will be issued to them as your employing broker. Now that you have your license you should get yourself out there. Learn everything about your market and build your name as a Colorado real estate broker. Success as a Colorado real estate broker depends upon your reputation and the way to build a solid reputation is to know your stuff.  

Once you have a couple of years of experience as a Colorado real estate broker, even more options are available to you with your Colorado real estate broker license. An independent broker is able to continue working for another broker or free to go into business for themselves. Now that you have a Colorado real estate broker license and some experience you can take total control of your career and work for yourself.

If you complete a few additional hours of real estate courses along with your experience you could become an employing broker. As an employing broker you are permitted to have other licensed brokers work for you. With your Colorado real estate broker license, two year experience and 24 hours of real estate training in Brokerage Administration you could be earning commissions on all of your deals, and those of the brokers that you employ.

So you have your Colorado real estate broker license, now the sky is the limit.
