365 things to do in Worcester county - Walk the walk. Well, this Sunday, October 3, 2010, I did what I set out to do. I raised $145.00 which is $45.00 over my goal and I walked 5 kilometers to show my support. Since, I already walked over 2 miles that morning, I certainly felt the 3.5 miles which took us up and down hills in Worcester neighborhoods.
There were litterally hundreds of people at the Worcester State College. Every team had a different t-shirt and ours was wall street walkers. Fred Schuster who is the team leader talked briefely with me on our walk. He is generously adding .25 on the dollar to the team's donations.
365 things to do in Worcester county - Walk the walk. is definitely a worthwhile cause and I am seriously considering repeating next year!
