Burnt Store Isles (BSI) is located on the south side of Punta Gorda. It is a unique community in that there are many homes with Gulf of Mexico access through a saltwater canal by way of the Alligator Creek into the Charlotte Harbor through the Boca Grande Pass. There are about 1000 home sites on a network of 10 foot deep, 100 foot wide waterways. Burnt Store Isles is also a golf community. There are about 400 homes on the golf course. One does not have to be a member of the Twin Isles Country Club to live in the community. Twin Isles' golf course, tennis complex and spacious Clubhouse create a comfortable atmosphere that makes new members feel welcome and at home.
Burnt Store Isles is also unique in that everything you need to survive is located right at the entrance to the community, off US 41. There's a Walgreens, Publix grocery store, Home Depot, Subway, a dry cleaners, a nail place, Bealls Outlet and much more. You don't have to even get onto the main road to find what you need! There's plenty of parking and the storefronts are neat and clean. I75 is a five minute jog from Burnt Store Isles.
Burnt Store Isles is waterfront living at its finest. As you sit poolside and look out onto the canal, fish are jumping, waves are lapping and you can watch the boats pass by. Most of the homes is Burnt Store Isles have pools with a screened lanai or cage. This keeps the wildlife out while you enjoy the peace and quiet of your surroundings.
Burnt Store Isles is a deed restricted community which keeps the aesthetics mint and maintains property values. There is a nature preserve on the south side of Burnt Store Isles. The boating, fishing, golfing and shopping make Burnt Store Isles and ideal place to live. I've proudly made my home in Burnt Store Isles!
