Saturday, October 9 from 8-3 the Guthrie/Edmond Regional Airport is hosting an open haouse. There will be aircraft on display like warbirds, amateur built aircraft, gyrocopters, helicopters, civil air patrol, and Jim Gardner with Chopper 4. There will be plenty of food vendors and various drawings throughout the day.
But the most exciting thing is that EAA Chapters 24 and 1098 will offer free Young Eagle flights to kids 8-17 beginning at 9:00. Of course a release signed by a parent or guardian will be required! What a fun day that will be!
