This Halloween season, many daring Perry and Middle GA residents will venture into the Haunted Barn located at 2235 Hwy 41 North, in Perry, GA. The Haunted Barn is rapidly becoming notorious for providing frightening, yet fun-filled Halloween entertainment.
What makes the Haunted Barn unique is not only the transformation it goes through during the Halloween season, but its history as well.
According to their website, the barn is located near the site of a bloody Indian legend. It was also used as hospital during the Civil War, during which many soldiers died on the operating tables.
In addition, legend has it that in the 1930′s, the owners of the property simply vanished. Locals believe that they were murdered and still roam the barn and the surrounding land today.
For those brave enough to enter the Haunted Barn, tickets are available for $12 at the door. The barn will be open every Friday and Saturday night starting at 8pm. It will also be open daily at 8pm for the week of October 25 - 31st.
