Wordless Wednesday: Eating the Feng Shui way :) by Feng Shui New York Long Island consultant

We have all heard of the saying, "less is more". In my own opinon I think the French are kings when it comes to cooking and creating great tasting flavored food in very small portions. Last night I had the pleasure and time, to create a simple dish and even enjoyed setting the plate :)

feng shui food for your home and life

All you need is a couple pieces of sliced chicken breast, a couple eggs, bread crumbs, an avocado, a few bean sprouts and fresh lemon :)

Remember to eat your meal in a calm relaxed manor.  If you took the time to cook it, take the time to eat it.

Fitness and Feng Shui tip: I promise your food will taste that much better if you take the time present it nicely and truly eat and taste your food.  Not only that, eating at more "controlled" pace you will feel fuller for longer :) The portion you see in the photo above was more then enough.

Laura, although I have to admit I'm not keen on the avocado/bean sprouts combination (just a personal preference, I like both ingredients but just not together), you did a nice presentation. I'm glad you enjoyed it and thanks for sharing! :)

Laura, it sure looked yummy!  I think that taking the time to actually eat is an important thing that many of us need to get back to doing.  I know that it seems like I am always trying to gulp down lunch so that I can get something else done.  Then when dinner comes around, I end up in much the same situation.  I know that I eat a lot less when I take the time to actually eat and enjoy my food.

Laura, We should all eat like this.  There would be a lot less overweight people if we just slowed down to eat.

Hi Laura, I've always taken my time when it comes to eating. It's healthier that way.

Laura, my daughter has always re-arranged her food in this way, we thought it was just OCD. I guess we all should try it

Laura, I have been on an avocado kick - makes me wonder why there have been such great prices on them in the store - and the more I read, the better the verdict is. In addition to an "an apple a day," I am adding "an avocado a day" to my diet

Yum!  This looks delicious, and I love the presentation.  I enjoy my meal more when i eat slowly and savor it also.  I find I get full with less food that way.  Well, I'm hungry now, so I better go raid the frig for a cheese stick or something-LOL
