Be sure the kids are dressed in their Halloween costume. And don't skimp on the costume. There will be a short parade where judging will take place to determine the Cutest, Scariest and Most Original costumes. Prizes will be handed out to the winners in each category.
After the parade, there will be food and drinks for the kids, music and entertainment. The Braemar Activities Committee has booked a couple of "moon bounces" for the kids, cotton candy and popcorn machines.
If it rains, Braemar's 2010 Spooktacular will be moved indoors to the the clubhouse, located at 12300 Iona Sound Drive. Hours will remain the same.
And as a special offer to Braemar residents, please email me for a coupon to Chili's in Manassas or Gainesville for your children under twelve years old to eat free on Halloween (October 31st), anytime after 3pm. Email address is ChrisAnn@LNF.com. Put Braemar Spooktacular Offer in the subject line.
If you are interested in helping to plan the next Braemar activity, or if you are interested in helping to chaperone this one, we'd love your help. Please contact Michelle Wingo at 703-361-8785. Michelle is the management liason between the Activities Committee and the Braemar Board of Directors.
