Wow,
I just had a closing with a Co-op Agent that was Missing in Action. Well, I guess I can say, I had a closing with "her buyers"...because She never showed up.
As it turns out, the poor buyers didn't even know the closing was happening until the day before. I knew 10 days beforehand and continually asked her to find out what was the best time to close for the buyers on the 30th. She told me, it wasn't her job to schedule the closing...it was the title company's job to track down HER buyer!? So, she never told them?!!? Unbelievable?!
Part-time agents should still have a responsibility to their buyers and the transaction. She never gave them any guidance?! They had a hard time with their lender, and she never knew where they stood with the loan. She said it was the title companies job to talk to the lender, that they will figure it all out?! Unbelievable?!
I'm very grateful that we even made it to the closing! Now it's time for me to show the buyers, what a True Professional is, and how a Professional Realtor can definitly take care of their clients. There is still plenty of after sale communication that needs to be done for all Buyers, to make sure they are comfortable with their new home purchase.
Customer Service will never be a dying art!!
Well...It's a fun way to be adopting some new clients!
