Moonflower At Sunrise On A Wordless Wednesday

By
Real Estate Agent with BCR Realtors 262359

These are some of the most prolific bloomers you can plant in your garden. They are easy to grow. The blossoms are huge. They smell great. The bees love them. They do well in very hot weather.  They hang on into the fall. And they create a stark contrast in your flowerbeds. What more could you ask of a flowering plant?  Oh and They bloom at night so when you wake up they are fresh.

Trey,

I've never seen one before. Is white the only color they come in?

I've had no luck with moonflowers here in CO, so I'm jealous. I do have other night-bloomers though. They're a sweet treat.

Charles and Joetta

I think they are pretty much warm climate lovers. Ours really don't get going until it is really hot in the summer.

Yes, I noticed you're from Texas.  Don't rub it in! (I do love Colorado in so many ways, but after gardening in Oregon and Washington state and South Carolina, gardening here can be frustrating. So I enjoy the posts about flowers I can't have, but can go see in other beautiful states!)
