All Realtors® are the same?

By
Real Estate Agent with Re/Max Elite

All Realtors® are the same? Does that sound believable?   I don't think so.  No matter what industry you are in, there are always professionals that can make your experience better.  What do you mean by better?  Well, let's see, doesn't every seller want to sell for the highest price in the shortest amount of time with the least hassle?   Of course, they do.

So wouldn't it make sense that the better your home is marketed the better results, depending on the price, will be achieved?   You need an experienced Realtor who is on top of the latest marketing for your home.  Ok, so that sounds easy but is it.  Did you know that most people only interview one agent?  Although this is easy, it is not the smartest thing to do with the largest asset most people own.  Two things will help you keep from doing this with your home.  One, you need to ask the Realtor for a list of "recent" references.  Two, you need a list of all of the marketing avenues the Realtor® uses.  It really is that simple.   If you have a list you can compare with the other agents lists.  Take your time, make the right decision, and PRICE YOUR HOME RIGHT.  Pricing/Staging are the most important.  Listen to your agent, if they are credible, they are your best insight to getting your home SOLD

The Agent you choose REALLY does make a difference

Agree completely, all agents are NOT the same, I just blogged on this topic on Trulia and think I'll do so here as well.  I am such a believer that it comes down to the agent not the firm.  The right agent will get the job done - otherwise, time is lost and results diminished, and to a seller that means less money in their pocket.

Selling Northwest Houston to good people like you!

Any time we run up against the "You're all the same" syndrome.  Just ask the folks if they are the same as the guy or gal that works right beside them.  Or ask them if they choose one dentist over another?  At least give them something to think about.

Thanks, Jeanne, Jeanne, & Ralph. It's funny how agents are often are lumped together, when in reality not all of us do an equally good job.
