Silveton Area Community Aid Food Drive

~A Little Goes a Long Way~

Every day, many families and individuals in Silverton are struggling to meet their basic nutritional needs.

Your help can bring immediate relief and hope to those who are experiencing hunger.

You can make a difference right now.

Help contribute to Silverton Area Community Aid's October food drive.

The need is great and we can rally to help.

The goal for our group:  1,000 lbs. for the month of October.

There are about 54 members in our industry in the Silverton community...

1,000 pounds = 18.5 pounds per person.  (If each person contributes...)

SACA's goal for the month of October is 25,000 pounds.

How can you help?

•o   Bring contributions to Realtor Tour Kick off at Horizon Mountain Mortgage on 10/14/10

Ian at Horizon/Lighthouse and Dina at Wells Fargo will provide a prize to the largest contributors!

•o   Volunteer to help SACA with the food pick up and sorting on 10/16/10

Use this opportunity to connect with your sphere neighborhood!

•o   Contribute to food barrels at Silverton Realty, Roth's, & Safeway throughout the month

•o   Connect with your sphere with a food drive letter or postcard to let them know your commitment and encourage their support.

Foods to Donate:

Each month, nearly 5,800 households in Marion and Polk counties need emergency food assistance.

This is 10% more each month than a year ago!
