Ready to Launch My New Facebook Business Page
Ok, I think I've done it! I have finally put together my business Facebook page for Exit Stage Right. Many people here on Active Rain have helped make this happen, whether they are aware of it or not!
This all started thanks to Marianne Cherico's recent post on business and social media. She really made me think about the importance of using the Facebook tool to help grow my business. This isn't new information for me. I did attend Raincamp in Bellingham not that long ago; it just takes a while for things to sink in.
Another fellow stager who helped me set up the Facebook page is Kym Tarr and her post on using www.pagemodo.com for free to create one interestingly designed page. This is my "Welcome" tab. Thanks also goes to Andrew Mayon who quickly emailed me another version of my Facebook banner which he created ages ago, as I had lost my original version and couldn't find it stored on my computer anywhere. Of course, I also have to thank Brian Brumpton for creating the cool little social media icons at the bottom of my signature. He said we were free to use them, as long as we left a little note on his post saying as much. Aren't they cute?
I'm still debating whether I want my Active Rain blogs to feed automatically to my Facebook business page, or whether I should be writing new and different content for the Facebook business page. I also have to figure out how to do that!
Here is my plea. Could you please, please click the "Like" button or the Raindrop Facebook icon to add yourself to my Facebook business account so that I don't look like a complete loser with no friends? Thanks, that would be much appreciated!
