OCTOBER 2014  -- Please visit:  Haunted Hayride at the Fairview Tree Farm in Shelton CT Info  Forest of Fears -- Haunted Hayride in Shelton CT 2014

Haunted hayride CTIt's Back!  Be prepared to be scared!  The 14th Annual Haunted Hayride at Fairview Tree Farm, Shelton CT returns on Saturday October 8.

The hayride, fun and exciting as it is, is not for the faint of heart or for very small children.  Various monster and ghoulish characters will come right up to and into the haywagon and do their scary stuff.

Ride through the hills of the Fairview Tree Farm and experience creepy characters and eerie scenes designed to frighten young and old alike.

Be prepared for visuals and sound effects that might will make you scream or at the very least catch you offguard and make you jump out of your seat -- or off your hay bale.

The scenes and characters change each year so there is always something fresh and new to experience.

Don't be ‘scared' away by the traditionally long line to get on one of many haywagons.  There is food, local vendors, and possibly an occasional ‘visitor' to the line area when least expected.   Time passes quickly when you're with ‘fiends'.

The 8-night schedule is as follows: October 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 29 and 30.

The Shelton CT haunted hayride runs continuously from 7 - 10 p.m.

The Fairview Tree Farm is located on 484 Walnut Tree Hill Rd., Shelton, CT  203-944-9090  Directions.

This should be a blast! Even better that it is outside and who knows where the scare will show up! We have a Haunted Trail here in San Diego and it is really scary! The kids flock to it in droves!

Hi Patricia -- Yes, there are many fairs, Halloween events, and let's not forget all the apple picking to enjoy before the cold and snow come in.  Wonder how the foliage is going to look this year?  Pretty slow to turn in my area.  Maybe it was too hot and dry this summer?

Hi Stephanie -- You're right about not knowing where some creature is going to rear his ugly head. Our kids -- and adults! -- also flock to this hayride.  The line can be long, but it moves along and there's some 'entertainment' along the way to liven things up.  A very fun time!
