I heard on the news last night that HUD has introduced a new program to help homeowners facing foreclosure. They have instituted a program where they are now offering bridge loans of up to $50K to help borrowers transition a difficult time until they get back on their feet to avoid foreclosure.
I'm going to check this out further but is seems like it could help some and just prolong the inevidible for others. I guess time will tell.
