I know that at our house...Grandma can't do much wrong in the eyes of he young kids. (If they only knew the truth) but, that's for a different blog.
Everyone was seated at the table when young Jimmy started eating as soon as his mother gave him his plate. "Jimmy, you need to wait so we can pray."
"I don't have to", Jimmy replied.
"Yes you do. We always pray before a meal at our house." Mom reminded him.
"That's at our house, but this is Grandma's house and she knows how to cook!"
If you don't want to be embarassed, don't confront or ask the opinion of a small child!
Bill, of course Grandma knows how to cook and we are much more adapted to throwing many rules out the window also!

I think my gets would be in trouble if they said that but I would laugh and my wife would get mad at me.

That's great! My almost 2 yr old daughter never wants to go in her seat for dinner out our house, but jumps in the booster seat for dinner at my mom's house.
