Don't be afraid to go out on a limb. That's where the fruit is.   Quote by H. Jackson Brown

I am a real estate rookie and a blogging newbie. I joined AR 11 days ago and have been putting my toe in the water by commenting on a few blogs. This morning I read Diane Aurit's post about the different stages of blogging and with her encouragement, I am moving out of fear and am jumping in to swim with the big fish.

whale in ocean

Just in case my old biology professor is reading......yes I know this is a whale and not a fish, but it works and I couldn't find a picture of a fish.

I'm looking forward to sharing more as I learn more each day!

With no size comparison, it could be something a lot smaller. We will wait and see how big your fish is in this pond. Welcome to AR.

Welcome to ActiveRain, Pamela.

There are so many topics... you can learn from others, yes, there are so many experienced and generous bloggers here, but I am sure you also have many topics to talk about and contribute with.
Don't get discouraged if other don't comment.
The way I see it, it's like a cyber-diary where you write ideas, thoughts, etc. and in the worst case scenario, you can always come back and read your own posts months from now and realize how much more you have learned.
Welcome again to AR.

Beautiful picture. I went to some place (I forgot) in Massachussets years ago to see all those beautiful whales playing around the boat.

Pamela - Welcome. You will find this to be an exciting, informative and friendly place. There are so many nice people on here it makes me wonder why Realtors (et al) have such a reputation!

Diane, Cynthia and Fran -  Thanks for the words of encouragement and support!

David- Good point, this could be a sardine....time will tell.

Nestor - I'm a Massachusetts native, and spent a lot of time watching whales. Thanks for the tips and support.

Gary - I agree. I think the reputation is because of the 1% of Realtors who aren't so nice. They get all of the press, bad news travels faster and farther.
