One of the many beautiful sites to see in the Shuswap! Every 4 years the Salmon return to spawn this year will be a 100 yr. record year for this amazing wonder. Why do the parents die childless and there children born orphans? Come see for yourselves

This years Adam's River Salmon Run is the Largest in 100 years in the gorgeous N. Shuswap; Roderick Haig Brown Provincial Park.

Looks like Sock eye salmon. I have always wanted to do some fishing up in Canada. Usually its snowboarding in the winter.

Karen,

We have a salmon run here in Victoria--at Goldstream Park.  Steven is right, Adam's River Run is Sockeye.  Ours is Chum Salmon.  It may look beautiful for a time, but as you know, they die and rot.  What a reward for such hard slogging!
