Greetings from Estes Park!
We are having an unusual fall here in the Rocky Mountains, with an extra three weeks of fall color! (no one is complaining...I'm thinking this is our reward for the snow in May)
I have some really tall aspen trees in my backyard, and that's what it takes to get a shot like this, plus a few filters in the digital darkroom!

Hi Lisa, what a great shot - it has been a spectacular fall this year! I think I heard the weatherman say yesterday last year it was only 19 degrees! Oh how quickly we forget! LOL

Absolutely gorgeous. My wife and I went to the top of Trailridge last month, and being from Nebraska... she was utterly amazed at what I showed her and completely freaked out by the cliffs that we were driving next to. (hehe)

I thought I was the only one who loved to take pictures looking straight up the trees into the sky. That is stunning!! I am glad you are having such a nice fall.
