So here we are, spending the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend at Tigh-na-Mara Seaside Spa Resort and Conference Centre in Parksville on the east side of beautiful Vancouver Island about 100 miles above Victoria BC. This is one resort that is hard to beat! This morning we arose to a gorgeous sunny day and, following breakfast, we walked the dogs along the beach where the sandbar can be out as far as 1/2 mile. Kids love this beach. The Restaurant is spacious and serves fabulous food. The Spa is world class. There is a large gazebo down at the water's edge--great spot for a wedding. Today (Sunday) there were two weddings being performed at the resort, so there are a lot of well dressed folks walking around.
