This season the Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville is attempting something new in an outreach program called the 10x10 Series. There will be 10 concerts throughout the season which are priced at the ridiculously low price of $10 per ticket. This, of course, is in addition to other concert series this season. I went to the second concert in the series last evening (October 9) and was impressed with the unusual nature of the concert. Featured was Omara Portuondo, 80 year old legendary singer from Cuba. For more on the concert, read my main blog.
