The Del Mar Fall Home Decorating & Remodeling Show has something for everyone and offers some great prizes Jim! I know I'd be there with my husband if we lived there.
Wow Jim, great hyper-local post about the Del Mar Fall Home Decrotating & Remodeling Show... looks like a great event that home owners and hopefully home-buyers will not miss! Hope you are good-- ! Kathy
Jim, this is a great localism post! There are always some great ideas or new products at these type of shows! They are also fun to attend, and a great place to network!
Hey, Wanda – I think the fall show is our third largest, after the San Diego County Fair and the spring show. Back in 2001 I helped staff a booth for the home inspection company I was working for. That was tiring, even though there were two of us. I think it really takes at least three people to do a good job yet not get excessively tired or worn out.
Hey, Kathy – I look forward to the day when I’m rich enough to hire people to set up a booth at these shows. I learned back in 2001 (see my comment above to Wanda) that staffing them is not in my psyche.
Hey, Tony and Darcy – I know they should be, but if one is not enthusiastic about being in a mass of people, that lack of enthusiasm shows in one’s voice and actions, so I tend to stay away from them. I’d rather walk the aisles of Home Depot to see what’s new, or read about it at ActiveRain.
