Atlanta Real Estate Market Is NOT a Disaster!!!!

By
Real Estate Agent with RE-Source Realty Brokers, In.c

My Friend John Adams reminds us all that the market is not a disaster:

The Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight produces the HOUSING
PRICE INDEX, which measures home prices nationwide, state by state, and in
major metro areas.  The new HPI for Second Quarter 2007 came out yesterday,
and home prices in Georgia as of June 30th were up 4.64% from a year ago.
This flies in the face of critics and the media who would have you believe
that real estate has lost at least half its value in the past year.   Contact me, and I will share my thoughts with you.

Amen.  I've been trying to tell people this here in Atlanta all year.  It's just not THAT bad here.  Inventory is up but people are still moving.  What's not to love!?
