Interesting.  There certainly have been a lot of epic failures.  It might be interesting to see some examples on the opposite side... of course, those didn't grab the headlines.

Ken.. you mean I have to watch the video and I couldn't just read about it?  I guess i will go listen now.. I am looking forward to it though, considering that I still have a lot to learn.. ps.. I wonder if Lane had watched it, because I would have liked to have heard his opinion.

ken.. ah, flashy advertising doesn't work in social media.. I would so agree with that and yet you see it more than you would think...  so true about customer service and that people can blog about you and leave footprints on the internet... 

Overall, there were some good stories in that slide show.. just a fyi.. it was very hard to read the responses in red.. thanks

Jeff, I read the powerpoint... had to go to the source and try to blow it up because on my laptop it was too small to easily read. 

Seems that most of it comes down to thinking that they (the big companies) had enough power to overcome the pesky consumers...
