Hi Albert - I live in Westchseter County, N.Y..... interest rates are currently wonderful.... properties are stagnating.. I foresee them selling in the spring BUT at a much ower price. Best, Gay

It truly depends on the area you're in. Here in San Diego we've seen slight price increases for 14 months straight but have since stayed level.

Albert...as we are only a few miles North of St. Clair Shores..what happens with you will probably be reflected here where we plant our boots.  I personally believe that we will see an upturn in Buyers; what effect if any  that may come  from this foreclosure-shut down, I won't even speculate upon.
FYI..we used to live on Detour, between Greater Mack & Jefferson.  So,, Small world, right.

Have a great week. Keep on posting, these folks are generally very helpful and fun.
