Carlsbad Homes for Sale in the Carlsbad Unified School District in Carlsbad CA 92009
As a Carlsbad buyer, you may feel that buying a home in a particular school district is important. That's understandable. And you should focus your search with that requirement in mind.
But you need to be careful in your search, because children in Carlsbad may attend one of three different school districts depending on your home's location within Carlsbad's 4 zip codes - 92008, 92009, 92010 and 92011.
Do not assume that your kids will go to the Carlsbad Unified School District, which may be a preference, without doing your due diligence.

The 92009 zip code covers the La Costa area of Carlsbad, but not all La Costa homes are in the Carlsbad Unified School District.
Several of the villages in the La Costa Greens master planned community are, including SolTerra (which still has new homes being built), as is Bressi Ranch, another master planned community.
Homes for sale in Carlsbad in the 92009 area that are within the Carlsbad Unified School District boundaries range from about $570,000 to $2.2 million for a golf course frontage home bordering the La Costa Resort and Spa.
