Cooler weather, pumpkins, farm animals, hayrides, corn mazes and a bit of local history. Where can you get all of this and more for just $6.00 per person for the activity area? Gentrys Farm of course! Gentry's Farm has been owned by the Gentry family for 150 years. The farm consists of approximately 400 acres, and three families currently reside there. Gentry's Farm is located 3 miles west of Franklin at 1974 New Highway 96 West, Franklin TN (Across from Westhaven).
Open weekends beginning September 25, through October 31, you can head out into the fields to pick your own pumpkins on Saturdays from 9am to 5pm, and Sundays from 1pm to 5pm. This year, you can also go on Monday mornings from 9 am to noon!.
Wear gloves, and don't forget to pick up a set of shears. You don't need to pay admission for the pick your own pumpkins, you just pay for what you pick. Pumpkin prices range from $1 to $3.00. If you don't want to pick your own, they have a nice selection of "pre-picked" pumpkins from .50 to $10.00 each.
