Today, 10/12/10, there are a total of 469 active Whittier Residential Property Listings - 414 Whittier Homes and 55 Whittier Condos.*
The amount of active Whittier Home Listings is at a steady 414 (for the past three weeks), however, there are small fluctuations within the different price ranges. While the number of active Whittier Home Listings has increased from 121 to 126 in the price range between $200,000 to $300,000, the amount of active Whittier Homes in the price range between $300,000 to $400,000 has decreased from 156 to 149.

With regards to Whittier Homes in some state of Foreclosure, 38% of active Whittier Homes are Short Sales, 12% of active Whittier Homes are Bank Owned Homes. 47% of active Whittier Condos are Short Sales, 16% are Bank Owned Properties.
Besides the Active Whittier Home and Condo Listings, 105 Whittier Homes and 13 Whittier Condos are in Back-up Offer Status, 171 Whittier Homes and 24 Whittier Condos are Pending Sale.
Since October 01, 2010, there have been 30 closed Escrows - 29 Whittier Homes and 1 Whittier Condo. Of the 29 Whittier Homes that sold, 6 were Short Sale Properties and 8 were Bank Owned Homes. The Condo sale was a Standard Sale.
