Mortgage companies all over the country are having problems. But, there's good news today. The interest rate is the lowest it has been in the past 3 months.
Freddie Mac reported a drop in the 30-year fixed rate from 6.52 to 6.45. The 15-year fixed rate went from 6.18 to 6.12.
What's this mean? Despite all of the "sky is falling" attitude you hear on tv and read in the papers, now is a great time to be buying a home.
