Greetings from Estes Park!

Peak to Peak Highway, aka HWY 7, originates in Estes Park and is one of the most scenic drives between Denver and the "High Country" for viewing aspen leaves. Our aspen gawking season is an extra three weeks long this year, so you still have the opportunity to hop in the car and enjoy some spectacular golden leaves. To get to "Peak to Peak" Highway, head north from Denver or Boulder on HWY 36 to Lyons. Turn left at Lyons onto HWY 7...you will end up in Allenspark first, then Estes Park.Peak to Peak Highway from Estes Park to Allenspark

Lisa - That is a very special looking scene!  The combination of the snow capped mountain, the colorful trees and the fence, combine to make a magical picture.
