Moving to Wickenburg, AZ

People always ask me about living in Wickenburg. They want to know what I like or dislike about Wickenburg. I have lived in several places around the United States while my husband was in the Air Force. There are some great advantages about living in Wickenburg, AZ.

I love the size of Wickenburg, AZ. It is big enought to support stores, restaurants, organizations, activities, and entertainment. It is not too big to lose that small town feel. The friendly neighborhood type community feel is alive and well in Wickenburg. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy the city life. I enjoy having everything within reach and having lots to choose from. That is what makes Wickenburg so great. I can have all of that city stuff with just a short drive but don't have to live in the hustle and bustle of the city traffic and city crime.

The weather in Wickenburg is great also. It is high desert and so the temperatures stay nice most of the year. We do cool off nicely in the evenings and stay cooler than the Phoenix metro area. It is a perfect place to retire or to have a winter home. The rolling hills, beautiful sunsets, and the green vegetation along the Hassayampa River, make a gorgeous and inviting scene.

If you are considering moving to Wickenburg, AZ then I would suggest doing it now while the inventory is high, prices are low and mortgage rates are good. Don't miss this chance for a second winter home, a retirement home or just a great family home to raise kids.

Great Blog    Wickenburg should be on every Retiree's  short list,  Young Families will benefit from the quieter lifestyle,  and the ability to trust their children will thrive in a small town.
