The 2nd Annual Anaheim Hills Food Drive is Now!
I started this story yesterday. Our goal is much too large to limit to one posting, I’m also not giving such short notice aa the last time. We’re going to pick up the food from you 3 weeks from now; Novembe
r 1st - 6th. We’re going to do it; you and I together are going to raise thousands of pounds!
Please share this with your neighbors. I’ll be calling you this month to schedule the best day to pick up from your house. Of course you are always welcome to come by the offices at 571 N. Poplar Street, Suite H, Orange, CA. I’ll have a barrel there!
I’m going to pick up the barrels later this week. Does your office want a barrel? You wouldn’t believe how effective they are at being filled up when they sit in an office! The most active offices have us pick up the barrel at least twice!
I think I can carry six barrels in my truck at a time, but I have friends with trucks and if necessary, I will rent a trailer! If we collected 2,097 pounds on short notice in just a few days during our first food drive, what are we going to do this time? My mind spins with the possibilities!
I’m going to need help, so if your son or daughter needs community service hours, this is a great opportunity to earn them! Last year, we gave community service letters to two students. I’m suret hey each included those letters in their applications to the high schools they are attending this year!
What does it take? All it takes is you asking one or two other people. Who can you show this article to that will increase our donation
efforts? Your neighbor? Your parents? Your boss? Your pastor or your teacher? Forward this article and share it with the people you care about the most. If they are like you and like me, they will be just as excited as we are to participate!
If you need extra information about this, I will bring it to your manicurist, your barber, your beautician, your mechanic and your favorite restaurant! Do you have a big office? I’ll bring you a barrel there. I can only ask you to imagine how good it feels when we show up to empty the barrel more than once between Nov 1st—Nov 6th. We can do it because together we are better!
