Hi Laura - I'm under "motivation" mode myself. I'm glad to hear yours is working. Started writing a business plan last night and need to reach out and touch 10 people each day! Your my fourth! My weakest link in real estate is agressive prospecting and I'm taking an axe to that link - it's broken! I'm taking it a step beyind my sphere! A step beyond my comfort zone!
Vernon seems like a wonderful place - I think I attended a wedding near there about 10 years ago! I work mostly in eastern PA - meeting a lot of people moving from NJ. I do have my NJ license but only do the very western part (Phillipsburg/Flemington/Frenchtown loop).

Hi Laura,
When we founded Capital City Investments, at least 50% of the start-up business came from our sphere of influence. Wonderfully, the next year saw about 40% of the business coming from the "other" 50% of business developed in the first year -- creating a "new" expanded sphere of influence. I wasn't actually taught this, but it's extremely beneficial to see "fresh" business as expanding one's sphere of influence exponentially. In the end it simply means more folks with whom to keep in contact, and a greater potential for referrals to the "other" sphere of influence: professional real estate colleagues!
Hi Judy,
Vernon is very beautiful. The mountains and open space are just great. It is nice to hear the snow guns at night when you are going to sleep.
Having a sphere of influence is nice and necessary when opening a business. When I go to personal social events I do some light networking because you never know who you may run into. I am the type of person that cannot stop thinking about networking.
It is my life!
