Just a little trivia for all the Auburn football fans. Ever wonder how the Tiger Walk was started? The tradition started in the early 1960's. Two hours before kickoff of every home football game, Auburn fans will line up along Donahue Drive to show their support for the Auburn football team as they walk from Sewell Hall to Jordan-Hare Stadium. It has become so popular it has been listed on the players' game weekend itinereary. The largest Tiger Walk to date was on December 2, 1989 before the first ever home football game against rival Alabama. An estimated 20,000 fans packed the one block section of road leading to the stadium. Actually, many other schools have copied this tradition. So now you know how the tradition was started. WAR EAGLE!!!! GO AUBURN!!!!
