In doing research the following Report was found [ is this the report that Mr Selweski references ]:
Implementing Health Insurance Exchanges /Guide to State Activities & Choices.
see: www.familiesusa.org
This is a 36 page report and is in pdf format for downloading.
It is a very interesting read; It uses an interactive map [of sorts] where you click on your State.
Starting on page 5 is the section titled Exchange Governance and Oversight: --a listing of 5 / Q & A ;
...1. Will your state have a state or federally operated exchange?
...2. Will your state join a regional exchange?
...3 Will your state create subsidiary exchanges?
...4. How will your state ensure adequate consumer input in exchange planning & operations ?
...5. Does your state have statutory or other legal authority to operate an exchange?

Here in Michigan, we are seeing ads on the TV for various persons/ items included in the November 2, 2010 Vote.
What we look for is the "Sponsored by " or " Paid for by" declarations.
When you actually can read or hear the names, it may behoove you to research the group.
Study just who it is that is sponsoring THE one or proposal for whom you should Vote;
An informed voter is an advocate for YOUR government: a great quote heard, but not identified by name is:
"The Government is for THOSE who show up to Vote"
Don't just "Hang Around Watching"
Get Informed; do your homework concerning your state.
