Step Up to Kuntry Living...

It never ceases to amaze me how some folks find in-gene-yus ways to make do when it comes to  interior desecrating. This clever individual found a one-in-a-million way to keep those nasty dirty logs off the carpeting.

Needless to say, this one certainly had me scratching where it itched or should I have said rubbing where it hurt?

So, instead of saying, "Well I never..."; you may want to say, "I wish I hadn't..." <sigh>

Kuntry living at its best...

Am I seeing that this person built a hearth of wood to store wood in it? I'm kind of scratching my head over here in Minnesota. But, the fireplace reminds me that I'm chilly and a little fire would be nice! :) Might need to get ours going soon!

You just have to love some of the things we see when on the job. It's part of what keeps our respective jobs so interesting.

Gee, I thought it was the cover to a burial vault! How creepy would that be? Maybe Santa is right there permanently.

Hey, that took some real thought and ingenuity!  Good thing they didn't think of a Headstone first!

Michael,

It also covers all the burned places in the carpet beneath! I like "interior desecration". Right up there with "re-muddling"!

all the best...

Michael, I also thought it was the cover to something funerial... crypt, whatever. But you have to give them an A for effort. Maybe someone in the home who loaded the fireplace was short of stature...

Sometimes you wonder what they were thinking.... or what channel they were watching when they got that idea.

Michael, This is funny but I do see some great use for this door step.  1. To lay your head on when you fall asleep in front of the fire. 2. Get your hammer and crack those pecans on a cold winter night. 3. Pick it up when the snow is blowing and tuck it under the covers. 4. Put it on the night stand to keep your Coffey warm all night long.  I could go on but who cares. :)  :)   Just add your to the list.
