Lucky me, I get to enjoy San Juan Capistrano history, horses and homes. As I sit in the office this afternoon I stare across Ortega Highway and look at the stucco walls, red tile roofs and the church bells of the Mission San Juan Capistrano. Being able to gaze at the this site on a daily basis is a wonderful privilege and a part of California history. The Serra Chapel built in 1777 at Mission San Juan Capistrano is the oldest building still in use in California. San Juan Capistrano is also Orange County's oldest city.
Horses are never far from sight either. Whether parading in front of the office in a holiday parade, or at the adjacent downtown park behind our building complex, or trotting for exercise and enjoyment at the many equestrian centers...horses are truly a part of daily life in San Juan Capistrano.
Homes, San Juan Capistrano has a wide variety of properties for every budget and taste. Condos and small homes in the Mission Area, newer guarded gate communities like San Juan Hills, stretches of middle class neighborhoods, large exclusive estate homes, horse properties, and country club golf homes in Marbella. There is something for everyone adding to this culturally rich and diverse environment.
