Children Are a Refection Of Their Parents

"I think that the my biggest role models

are the people that have maybe

struggled for a while and then finally

gotten to their destination."

Jonathan Brandis, American Actor

Children are a refection of their parents . . . .

Our children will use us as their role model. They will become a refection of our actions and will repeat them through out their lives.

Parents are not perfect; we are who we are, with and our children using us as their role model. If you want your children to improve, be the role model that you want your children to reflect.

Act as you would want you children to act, speak the way you want your children to speak to others and treat people that way you want you children to treat other people.

Let your children act as you act, help them to be the person that you are. Set the example for your children and be their role model for the way you want your children to grow up and become.

It's important to set a positive example for your children so their actions would make you proud even when you're not there.

Children mirror the parents in the smallest details. Set the example that they become the best person that can become.

Children are a refection of their parents and when we have done a good job being our children's role model, we can't help but become a better person ourselves.

I don't have any kids but I think I am a reflection of my parents. I turned out pretty well if I have to say so myself.

Very well said.  We are all a reflection of our parents and it is a choice we make as adults whether we want to continue in that path or set a different example . Some of had great role models and some of us are making the change hopefully for the better.

Hi Lou,

God has designed it so that children mimic their parents.

It is immensely cute, and acutely terrrifying at one and the same time!!

Thanks for the post

True, true.

Recent research is now telling us that a larger influence on children is actually their siblings.

If siblings are being brought up by good parenting, then they will influence each other for the the good.

We actually get mortgages closed FAST!

Not every parent is worth reflecting. Most are though.

As a couple who made the decision six years ago last July to adopt a child, your post reflects our philosophies.  We tried to raise Alec as well as we possibly could, and then tried to follow our own lead.
