The Mesmerizing Colors of the Sky at Night in Columbus, Montana!

As I ended taking photos of the fall colors late in the day in Columbus, Montana, a few days ago, I did not get as many photos of the leaves.  But, as luck would have it, I ended up taking more photos of the sky at night because there were plenty of vivid colors in the sky!

I will let you be the judge.  After all, it is Speechless Sunday today!  :)

And, yes, the series of the fall colors will continue later today with the fall colors in Billings (that is part 9 of the 10 part series)!

Sussie,

Thanks.  I am still using a point and shoot camera for all my photos.   As long at the camera has 6 mega-pixels, you should be able to capture some nice photos to share on here.   :)

Diane,

I don't go to Columbus often but I am glad I decided to include it in my series of fall color post!  It sure was an interesting visit and a very unexpected light show in the sky in Columbus!  :)

Janice,

Thank you for the positive feedback.  So you agree that I had to come out with a special post (outside of the fall foliage photos series) just to share these ones!   :)

The high thin clouds have an almost spiritual look to them when they take on color. Nice pics, Gerry!

The second photo is my favorite.  The colors are nice and I like the perspective created with the reflection off the railroad tracks.
