Organizing A Social Media Task Force

I've made a few bad career decisions, but joining the Keller Williams Hoover Market Center turned out to be very a good one! From the very beginning experienced agents (and some not so experienced) took time to help me. I really like the way this group works together as a team! Everyone has different strengths......and I'm surely not an expert, but I'm going to share what I have learned over the last few years......

As a member of our ALC's Technology Committee, my job is to organize a Social Media Task Force to help us learn more about blogging, ActiveRain, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and others, and how these can benefit our businesses. So far the interest in our group is great! We have people with some experience, some newbies, and so far a couple of folks from outside our office want to help too!

You don't have to be a member of our market center or a real estate agent to join us!

Have you read Soci@l by Ben Kinney? Great book that you committee will love! You may also want to check out the Internet Marketing Specialist Designation (IMSD). I'm about half-way through and have learned so much!

Ann - A social media task force sounds like a really great idea!

Interestingly enough, I've never had a job or a career that I didn't learn a great deal from. Some jobs weren't as pleasant as others. But just the other day, I was remembering how destiny seemed to lead me to certain jobs and careers I've been involved with. At the end of the day, I wouldn't take any of those experiences away!

I know what you mean about KW, there is just nothing like it! It is very hard to explain to people though, one must experience for themselves.

I want to write to AR and see if we can organize an activerain networking at our convention. I think it would be great fun!
