Ask Denise: On Facebook

Q: “Denise, should I have a Facebook page for my real estate business?”

A: Absolutely, “if”.  The “if” is this:  “If” you’re willing to work at it.  You can’t just put up a Facebook page and never monitor it.  If you don’t stay on top of it, then there’s no point in having one.

You don’t need to be on Facebook every single minute of the day, but you should monitor your page at least once a week and add new commentary to it. Agents that manage Facebook this way see success.

The bottom line is this: social media networking, and Facebook specifically, is huge right now and there are definitely opportunities to build your business through social networking.
