They Will Walk Through Glass to Get To The Polls

By
Real Estate Agent with Century 21 Birchwood Realty, Inc.

Chuck Todd, an MSMBC contributor made a comment this morning that tickled my funny bone (remember that old saying), he said people will "walk through glass" to get to the polls this November.  He was talking about people in this country wanting a "checks and balance" in our government, no more one side take all and ramming through policies the majority of the public don't want.

This November people are energized to vote against the amount of control our government has over us, and the ability for one party to check the other. We are seeing the results of what happened when the leaders of our government take us (the people) for granted and underestimating our willingness to "Walk Through Glass" to protect our rights.

Good point Lois. Although, it is the people's responsibilty to keep a check on those we elect. I can not believe that the mojority of folks who voted for our president did so with the expectation of his idea of change.

May I suggest you switch to Fox Business? LOL

Doug - I am a Fox News fan (morning and evening) but in the morning I flick from 3 different channels to keep abreast of what the other guys are saying.  This morning one of the other guy had something worth repeating.

Love ya Nick!

But will people walk through a wall of New Black Panthers (since they have the blessing of the White House and Justice Dept to try to intimidate conservative voters)?  I know that I will...

I forgot about that Lane, thanks for reminding me.  I think you will have a line following you into the voting station.

The best thing we can do is to remind friends, family and folks we work with how important it is to vote & bug them until they do.  I'm always stunned by voter turn out and folks saying they didn't have time.  We need everyone to participate.

It's so important Melissa, I threatened my son with disinheritance if he didn't get his fanny to the voting booth.
